老婆饼 (The Wife Cake)

在北方的一个村子里，老王与梅林是一对恩爱的夫妻，他们的生活虽然清苦，但每天却很快乐。老王的父亲突然生病了，老王拿出了能拿出的所有的钱给父亲买了药，可是父亲的病还是不见好。为了出去赚钱给老王的父亲治病，梅林不辞而别。老王日夜思念妻子，决定亲手为妻子制作膏饼，表达对她的感激之情。"老婆饼"因此而得名。| In a village in the North, Lao Wang and Meilin were a couple who were very much in love. Although they lived a hard life, they were happy everyday. Lao Wang's father was suddenly ill. Lao Wang bought his father medicines with all his savings, but his father did not recover. To earn money to treat Lao Wang's father, Meilin took French leave. Lao Wang missed his wife day and night, so he decided to make cakes for her. "The Wife Cake" was therefore named.
